We stand behind all our products and are confident they will perform as designed; however, should you ever need to return an item please see the below for details: 

Balance Assist Products (Steady Stick for select kayaks)

If you are not 100% satisfied with one of our balance assist specific products purchased directly from steady-stick.com, you may return it within one year of purchase for a refund. Additionally, we have your back with our limited lifetime warranty and will repair or replace components with defects in material or craftsmanship.

Non-Balance Assist Products (Accessories, Apparel, Hats and Stickers)

All of our non-balance assist products, which includes our Accessories, Apparel, Hats, and Stickers can be returned within 30 days of the original date of purchase for store credit or refund. Please find below the eligibility requirements for a return: 

  • The product was purchased within the last 30 days
  • The product is not used or damaged
  • You have the receipt or proof of purchase

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@steady-stick.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
